dystopia 4 ever

it is no secret that i absolutely ADORE the Chaos Walking Trilogy by Patrick Ness (and talk about it all the time and recommend it all the time). obvs that's my favorite dystopian series ever...but that doesn't mean there aren't other good dystopians out there! and intend to continue to search for them.

thankfully, Lenore is making this search a whole lot easier AND providing a bit of incentive. yes please!

she's hosting Dystopian February over at her blog Presenting Lenore. which you can check out right here.  on a related note, i LOVE calling things what they are. so like, when it comes to thinking of starting a new program for my paid gig, i'm much more inclined to call it "Lunch with Lisa" or "Board Games and Pizza" then something like "Teen Scene" or "KEWL". so mad props to Lenore for being straight with the name.

anyway, i will most def be participating with Dystopian February...hopefully more than once! first up for this challenge, is "Life As We Knew It" by Susan Beth Pfeffer. i can't wait! (i knowwwww another series is NOT what i need...but i can't help myself! i've heard good things! i want to!)

Lisa is a gamer, crafter, fangirl, mother, wife and unabashed nerd who is pretty ridiculous and it's best you know that up front. When she's not binge watching Netflix or crafting into the wee hours of the night, you can find her spending a lot of her time on Pinterest and Twitter.

  1. are you going to read the hunger games trilogy?

  2. i do plan on reading the trilogy, and have the first one on my nook already. i don't know that i'll get through them in Feb, however...

    you should read them too!

Hey you! What do you have to say?
