behind the blogger

this is part of the fun meme ,TGIF, hosted by Ginger at GReads! (which is a pretty great blog, if i do say so myself). each friday she hosts a question that the literary lovers in the world can ponder. this week, the lovely Ginger asks:

Book Blogger Identity: What occupies your time when you're not reading and/or blogging?

so this one is pretty easy for me to answer actually, because the odds are it's one of three things.

option #1: watching tv/movies. you guys, Andrew and i have a sick tv obsession. we are always watching at least 3 series at a time, not including what's currently on tv. right now our currently airing shows include: Parks & Recreation, Workaholics, Game of Thrones and The Killing. shows that we're watching thanks to Netflix are Avatar: The Last Airbender (rewatch), Reno 911 (for lolz), and soon to be starting The West Wing. we're also loosely re-watching The Wire and will always watch Deadiest Catch whenever it's on (rip Captain Phil). i TOLD you we have a sick tv obsession. this is in addition to movies. 

option #2: gaming. i LOVE board games. i don't get to place as much as i'd like - mostly because so many of our board games are for more than 2 people. some of my favorite board games are Ticket to Ride (building trains to connect cities and complete routes), Le Havre (a worker placement game based on building and shipping), Settlers of Catan (collecting resources to build and expand), and and Fresco (shopping for materials and painting art). my current super-fave is Shadows over Camelot (a cooperative game set in the theme of King Arthur).

option #3: sleeping. i just love to sleep in and nap. that is all.
