add it to the list [15]

inspired by Kristi's In My Mailbox meme from her blog, The Story Siren, here are some books and other goodies I've added to my ever growing list of books!

no vlog this week y'all. mainly because i've had such a crazy month and i'm currently high on benedryl. so i'm sparing you bizarre ramblings and barely coherent babble. i'm hoping that i'm writing better than i am able to speak right now...if not, enjoy the ride.

my blogging friend Jennifer of Little Shelf sent my my very first signed book EVER. and it's from the utterly adorable Alyson Noel! as if that wasn't amazing enough, Jennifer then loaded the book with all sorts of fun bookmarks and temporary tats and a little note. LOVE IT. and Jennifer. Shadowland (Immortals) by Alyson Noel

my sis-in-law just finished Linger as i received an arc of Forever, so we made a swap. pretty exciting!

after hearing much buzz about this book from some of my favorite blogging ladies, i requested this one from Amazon Vine. i'm pretty amped about this one.
Ten Things We Did (and Probably Shouldn't Have) by Sarah Mlynowski

and finally, but most certainly not least, Jacinda from The Reading Housewives sent me back my copy of A Monster Calls and she put some fun swag inside! seriously, those sisters are darling.

BONUS: i was home last week for some sad family events, but i did stumble upon some nerdalicious pictures. that's a photo of me holding Final Fantasy 7 on Christmas morning my freshmen or sophomore year of high school. the other picture is me holding the FF7 walk through. i can't explain why i look so salty. obviously i'm still obsessed over the damn things. my saltiness is probably because i was a teenager and hated my parents and being around them at who knows what time of the morning that was. seriously, look how dark it is. damn you little brother for wanting to wake up so damn early...so there you are - some salty lisa archives for you to enjoy.

so the short of it is, i have some pretty sweet bookish peeps in my life! thanks for helping me to have a fabulous mailbox over the past week or so, friends!

what'd you add to your list of books and goodies this week?

Lisa is a gamer, crafter, fangirl, mother, wife and unabashed nerd who is pretty ridiculous and it's best you know that up front. When she's not binge watching Netflix or crafting into the wee hours of the night, you can find her spending a lot of her time on Pinterest and Twitter.
