In My Mailbox [44]

In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. Basically, we share bookish goodness from the past week in whatever way we want. So there.

I was pretty lucky this week and added many books to my shelves! MORE BOOKS ALWAYS.

I received these books as part of hosting the DAC ARC Tours Blog
If you haven't checked that out, you totally should.

I received these books from the publishers in exchange for review.
No compensation, though. Which is cool by me.

(lurrrrrved Ship Breaker)

Remember that one time I won a contest from one of my fave bloggers ever?
ME TOO.

(rumor has it there's a panty melting British gentlemen inside of this book)

I bought them there books.

by the recommendation of Heidi at YA Bibliophile
by the recommendation of April at Good Books and Good Wine

Other kind of bookish things that are neat.

Boo! I'm a ghost. Boo notebook. Purchased with Nintendo Club Points. Yeah, that's right.
A little swag pack as part of being Team Amity. HOLLA.

Have you read any of these books?

Lisa is a gamer, crafter, fangirl, mother, wife and unabashed nerd who is pretty ridiculous and it's best you know that up front. When she's not binge watching Netflix or crafting into the wee hours of the night, you can find her spending a lot of her time on Pinterest and Twitter.

  1. IMM comment Take Two.

I absolutely LOVED When The Sea Is Rising Red by Cat Hellisen. LOVED IT so much. I want to hear your thoughts on it, Lisa style, as/after you read. PLEASE. I loved it THAT MUCH. I've read a few mixed reviews about this book, but I have MAD LOVE for it. So, yeah, share as you go along, mkay?

Also, I cannot even form cohesive thoughts on my love for Paolo Bacigalupi. Ship Breakers is a faovrite of mine and will probably be forever. Paolo is one of the best world-builders anywhere, period. I too have The Drowned Cities, staring at me from the footboard of my bed, and I cannot wait to crack that mug open. Seriously.

Good stuff you have there, my friend. Have FUN reading it all. xoxo

You got so much awesome going on here, girl! Those MGs look fantastic, too. I can't wait to read them myself. And I'm ready to get with some merfolk. The Vicious Deep sounds FAB!

  5. The Vicious Deep! I am ALL UP ON the idea of a mermen and reading a story from his point of view. I'm getting so ticked that I haven't found a copy yet.

I've heard mixed things about When the Sea Is Rising Red, but I DEF. want to try it at some point. I know you said you were going to try The Last Princess and I hope you dig WAY more than me.

AND A BOO NOTEBOOK to top off the awesomeness. DUDE, superfly mailbox here, enjoy!!
