Hey, have we met?

Since I've been gone from the YA blogosphere for SO LONG, I'm obviously out of touch with many of the fresh faces on the scene.

So, could you do me a solid and recommend to me your top 3 favorite blogs? They don't have to be exclusively YA or whatever. Just 3 blogs you ADORE reading on a regular basis.

If you're not sure if I already follow them or not, take a peek at my sidebar. Those are my tried and trues over there and I have kept up with them since I went away!

ALSO - would you mind sharing the top 3 YA books you've read in the last year? You know, since my TBR isn't already eating me out of house and home or anything.

Thanks for the help, yo! Sorry for being needy but I know you wanna help a girl out.

Lisa is a gamer, crafter, fangirl, mother, wife and unabashed nerd who is pretty ridiculous and it's best you know that up front. When she's not binge watching Netflix or crafting into the wee hours of the night, you can find her spending a lot of her time on Pinterest and Twitter.

  1. I think it's pretty awesome that most of my favorite bloggers are on your blogroll already! Let's see, I can recommend: The Book Barbies, I Swim For Oceans & Realm of Fiction! I love all three of those blogs a lot.

As for books, here are the ones I'd recommend:

Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas (pretty please?)
any Katie McGarry book, but preferably Dare You To
Something Strange & Deadly series by Susan Dennard
    Incarnate series by Jodi Meadows
    Elemental series by Brigid Kemmerer

  4. Awwwwww I'm on your blogroll <3 *blinks away tears*

Since recommending just 3 blogs is FAR too little for me, some more of my favorites are Books of Amber, Snuggly Oranges, Books With Cass, Queen Ella Bee Reads, Writer of Wrongs, The Daily Prophecy and The Book Barbies.

As for the books, again, three? How about five? Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas, Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo, Second Chance Summer by Morgan Matson, If You Find Me by Emily Murdoch and Just One Day by Gayle Forman.

  6. Hiiii!

I feel like Judith mentioned all my favorite blogs that aren't already on your blogroll. And since she listed more than 3, I think that's fair. I'd also mention Rachel over at As Told by Rachel (@tigerlilyrachel on Twitter).

As for the books, I've actually been on a hot streak recently so I'd recommend:
    Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen
    second These Broken Stars
Flora and Ulysses by Kate DiCamillo is MG but it's really, really good
    all of the Trish Doller
and Something Strange and Deadly by Susan Dennard which is basically my favorite go-to rec (which Alexa clearly agrees with)

    YAY books YAY blogging again!!
