Top Ten Tuesday: Books I've been told to read!

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Broke & The Bookish

Were any of those on your list?
Do you agree that I definitely need to read those books?

Let me know!

Lisa is a gamer, crafter, fangirl, mother, wife and unabashed nerd who is pretty ridiculous and it's best you know that up front. When she's not binge watching Netflix or crafting into the wee hours of the night, you can find her spending a lot of her time on Pinterest and Twitter.

  1. Ooh, I'm supposed to read Name of the Wind, too. But I forgot and left that off my list. But yeah, definitely been waiting for me, on my own bookshelf, for a long time. And a friend recommended Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Septys to me today! Have you ever read Keturah and Lord Death? That one is so short and totally quality and just completely awesome.

    1. I have not! I will have to add that to my list as well!

  2. The Lumatere Chronicles is definitely a bit darker than most fantasies, and the first book is a bit hard to get through! But I wound up really loving this series overall by the time I was in the middle of book two and sped through book three.

Also, you should DEFINITELY read The Queen of the Tearling! I think you'd like that one. I know I did (which was a total surprise to me). Get on it, girl! I also feel that way about The Summer series, and Ginger was also the person who got me to read it ;) AND definitely read Isla and the Happily Ever After!

AND GOODNESS! Read Anne of Green Gables! I definitely love that book, and it's one of those childhood favorites that I've revisited many, many times. In fact, I kind of just want to read it again after seeing your video...

    1. oooh, I like dark fantasies! SOON.

      I will read Anne! PROMISE.

  3. I was so bored by Finnikin.. I really tried to love it, but it wasn't it for me. Queen of the Tearling was great :) The name of the wind is also a book many people recommend. It feels like it's one of those classic fantasy series I need to read. The mortal instruments.. Nope. Between shades of Gray was impressive.

Hey you! What do you have to say?
