Hey guys! Yesterday I shared with you the news that Cricut Design Space 2.0 has an awesome new feature - PATTERNS!
In the 2nd part of my 4 part series, I'll be showing you how to edit a pattern in Design Space. Allonsy!
Next, click on the shape with the pattern you want to edit. You'll select the image under the "Layers" tab on the far right and it will populate the secondary menu. At the bottom of "patterns", you'll see an "Edit" button. Select that!
One of the ways you can edit a pattern is by scaling it. There's a notice that the pattern may appear pixelated in the preview, but it cuts clear and crisp. You can either slowly scale it or just choose the percentage and type it into the text box.
Another way to edit the pattern is to rotate it within the shape. I mean, I realize I used a circle so it doesn't really matter - but you get the idea! You can also flip the pattern back and forth using the "mirror" option in that submenu as well.
And that's how to edit patterns!
Stay tuned for the next 2 parts!
I rotated my image, but when I save and click GO to cut it, the rotation has been undone. Any ideas on how to fix this?
ReplyDeleteYep! If you select the whole image (either by using your mouse to click and drag a box over the entire image, or using the menu up top to select everything) and then 'attach' over on the right hand side, that should lock it into place. Let me know if that helps!
DeleteThanks!
