In case you missed the big announcement, Cricut Design Space is now on the App Store!

Cricut has pretty much blown the lid off of taking creativity on the go! Thanks to their amazing mobile platform on iPad and iPhone, you can now design ANYWHERE with all of the features and interface you're used to! Let's highlight a few of the super fabulous features, shall we?

Photo Canvas Feature
This is THE COOLEST EVER. Basically you can use the actual space you plan on creating something with your Cricut (in this case, the example is using the wall by their bathtub) and you can design right on top of that! Seriously, what a great feature is that?!

Single App for iPhone and iPad
What this means is that everything will transfer from your iPhone to iPad and the interfaces will be identical. The designs are also available on your laptop or personal computer, so when it comes time to cut with your Cricut Explore or Cricut Explore Air, you're all synced and ready to roll!

Camera Button
The camera button has been moved to the toolbar (this is an update from the previous iPad app) which makes everything that much more user friendly!

Access your designs from all devices
Like I explained a bit earlier, the designs you create on the go or at home are all saved seamlessly between devices so you can access them anywhere! You might start a design on your laptop for an image above the crib in your new baby's nursery. You decide you want to see what it will ACTUALLY look like, so you can use your iPhone app to go snap a pic quick and use that as your canvas to scale the design and select colors. Seriously, how cool is that?!

Happy crafting, y'all!

Lisa is a gamer, crafter, fangirl, mother, wife and unabashed nerd who is pretty ridiculous and it's best you know that up front. When she's not binge watching Netflix or crafting into the wee hours of the night, you can find her spending a lot of her time on Pinterest and Twitter.
